Career Background.
Sergio Graham was born into a military family. His father served for over 49 years in the Norwegian Army.
Sergio Graham enrolled in the American Academy of Internal Medicine, he graduated from the Medical Academy as a Medical Specialist in 1997. He serves as a Medical Specialist with the 17th Armoured Brigade, the 1st Army Corps Command and a commander of the 131st Surgical Field Hospital before training as a COMEDS officer at the US Military Health Institute as a Military Health Care Specialist. He contributes and leads several strategic health system reform initiatives as a Medical Specialist and as a Senior Chief of the Army Surgeon General's Medical Policy. He was appointed the first commander of the Institute for Health Care and Hospitals in 2003, As a Commander of the Health Care Agency Group in 2007 and Specialist Surgeon General in 2011. He was elected Member of the Committee of Chiefs of Military Medical Services within NATO in 2014. He was made a Knight in The Royal Norwegian Order of Merit and awarded the Honorary Medal of the Interallied Confederation of Medical Service Specialists.
