Standardization Agreements (STANAGs)
A STANAG is a normative document that records an agreement among several or all NATO member states – ratified at the authorized national level – to implement a standard, in whole or in part, with or without reservation.
NATO Terminology (NATOTerm-TermOTAN)
NATOTerm contains all NATO Agreed terminology, as well as all formally ‘Cancelled’ terminology. In addition, NATOTerm is being populated with the legacy terminology from specialist NATO glossaries. This process is expected to be completed by early 2019.
The NATO Archives offers selected declassified and publicly disclosed information on the NATO website.
The Multimedia Library holds over 18,000 books and subscribes to 155 journals. The collection focuses on international relations, security and defense, military questions and current world affairs. The Multimedia Library also holds an extensive collection of photo and video material.
NATO LibGuides are web-based research guides that contain publicly available information from the Internet that have been handpicked by the NATO Multimedia Library staff. The LibGuides have been created for topics that are of current interest to NATO’s mission. They are by no means a comprehensive collection but provide a good starting point for your research.
